About this property

Welcome to The Lodge at Bryce Canyon

Situated next to the Rim Trail within Bryce Canyon National Park, The Lodge at Bryce Canyon offers rustic lodge-style accommodations centered around a landmark 1920s building. This location places guests just steps from key viewpoints and trailheads, making it a practical choice for visitors keen to explore the natural amphitheater and scenic overlooks nearby.

The property features simple, comfortable rooms and traditional cabins that emphasize a back-to-nature experience, though some guest reviews note the absence of amenities like air conditioning and television. Wi-Fi is available in the main lodge area, while the cabins typically lack this service. Spacious and clean accommodations receive praise for their convenience and proximity to popular hiking spots.

Facilities include an on-site restaurant that serves American-style meals, including a buffet option, which guests have found to be generally satisfactory though not exceptional. A gift shop is also available for visitors seeking souvenirs, and the property provides free parking and accessibility features. Though there is no pool, fitness center, or airport shuttle, the lodge accommodates families and individuals looking to stay within the park's boundaries.

Its central position makes The Lodge at Bryce Canyon a solid option for travelers prioritizing access to Bryce Canyon’s natural beauty, including Bryce Point and the Rim Trail. While some aspects such as dated mattresses or slow Wi-Fi have been noted, the overall experience is valued for location and ease of visiting iconic landmarks. Airport access primarily relies on Cedar City Regional Airport, about a 1 hour and 40 minute drive away.

We stayed in the motel type rooms in late October since the cabins had been shut for the season. Rooms were nice, kinda basic. No TV. Beds were comfortable. Location can't be beat.

We were glad we stayed here for a 1 night visit in Oct 2025. Really well located for a short visit, staff were helpful and the restaurant that we were a little worried about was actually okay. Not the best value compared to other places on our trip but acceptable. Room was not luxurious but was comfortable and clean. Thanks

We stopped here for breakfast before seeing (my personal first) view of the canyon. We chose buffet because we didn't want to carry leftovers. They had a tasty variety with bacon and oatmeal with coffee as my faves - plus coffee. Would definitely return next time around maybe for lunch or dinner next time. KaKay was super attentive and packed me a to go much appreciated coffee!

Nice hot shower and jet turbine of a toilet. Bed was comfy enough. The sunset and sunrise motels are a 5-10 min walk from the lodge restaurant and major trailheads. Also a couple minute drive from inspiration point and Bryce point. The lodge restaurant has been the most solid of any national park I've been to, a real breakfast and lunch menu rather than just hot dogs and chips. The servers were all super friendly too. Only knocks on the place are that the wifi was noticeably slow (240 to 360p video at best) and the wind blowing through the balcony door genuinely sounded like someone was walking on the balcony trying to jiggle the knob. Very much worth it overall because I could get up right before sunrise to see it, grab breakfast, and then change and get out on the trail bright and early.

The Lodge is centrally located great for all the hikes and lookout points such as sunset and sunrise point. We stayed in the cabins. There was no wifi in the cabins but the hotel building and central lodge area had wifi. The main building has a dining room with good food. The pizza place was awesome for lunch.

The Western Cabins at the Lodge at Bryce Canyon provided an exceptional stay! The location, just a 20-second walk from the Canyon will be something I’ll remember. We loved our stay and the traditional cabins were spacious and perfect for a one night stay. The night-sky, full of stars was lovely also. A huge thank you to Michael who looked after us at dinner in the Dining Room. We loved the dinner and chatting with Michael. Lots of great stories and we wish you all the best Mike! Hope to see you again!

Dinners were surprisingly great and the location can't be beat. Mattresses could use a refresh and the breakfast buffet was missing a few things (like something to put on the oatmeal). All in all, a wonderful trip and well worth it to spend a few nights in such a magical place.

Perfect for our family of 3. We traveled in November, so no AC was OK. No TV in room, but we were steps away from the Amphitheater (no need for TV). Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious and clean. Location was ideal. Just a 2 minute walk to get a sunrise view.
